Product Owner

As Product Owner, you play a crucial role in the further development of our product. Together with Business Analysts and the Product Manager, you will form new product components and features. You come up with and realize optimal solutions for our customers, translate Business Requirements into software solutions, manage the Product Backlog and supervise the development team functionally. Your expertise and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams will be critical in delivering a high-quality software product that meets the needs of our customers.

‍What are you going to do?

• Work closely with the product manager to gain insight into the product vision, strategic goals and customer needs in the field of mobile workplace applications.
• Act as a bridge between the product manager and the development team in translating Business Requirements into product specifications.
• Coordinate product specifications with our Business Analyst or directly with customers, often supported by a mockup or wire frame.
• Define and prioritize User Stories, which you and the development team develop into plannable and executable work.
• Collaborate with the product manager, developers, and QA engineers to clarify technical requirements, resolve deployment issues, and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Developing and maintaining a well-defined and organized product backlog.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Provide guidance and support to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

You also have:

• Good understanding of software design and development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

And beyond

• Driving license
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Owner.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Certification in Product Owner ship (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus (or the desire to get it).
