AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer, you’ll be part of a new, agile team that translates AI into practical solutions for the daily challenges of our customers.

What will you do?

In this role, your focus will be on developing and testing AI concepts through proofs of concept and prototypes. You’ll work in a small innovation team with plenty of room for initiative and collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines. New technologies are translated into applicable solutions within the Agriware software suite. Designs and assumptions are developed, tested, and refined in short iterations based on feedback and real-world results.

Your responsibilities include:

• Translating AI use cases and new technologies into concrete solutions and concepts
• Developing and optimizing agents, prompts, context, tool calling, and workflows
• Integrating AI solutions into existing software in collaboration with our product teams and domain experts
• Experimenting and validating assumptions through hypotheses, testing, and short feedback loops
• Documenting and sharing insights, reusable components, and best practices within the team
• Actively contributing to innovation projects, hackathons, and other AI initiatives
• Expanding and transferring AI knowledge within the organization

You recognize yourself in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (HBO+ level)
• Strong command of English (Dutch is a plus)
• Demonstrable experience with AI, automation, and business applications
• Experience with or interest in Microsoft AI tools such as Copilot Studio and Azure
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, preferably with experience in Microsoft integrations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experiment-driven mindset: hypothesis → test → learn → improve
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly
• You like to stay up to date with the latest AI developments and actively share your knowledge
